Four ways I can help
Most enquiries start with AI these days, and most grow into one of the others once we find what's really slowing you down. Prices below are real ranges, not "contact us for a quote."
Put AI to Work
Practical AI that reads your documents, answers your customers and drafts your busywork. No hype, and no AI where it does not belong.
- Typical range
- $6k – $40k
- Timeline
- 2 weeks – 3 months
What you get
- An honest assessment first — I talk clients out of about half of these
- Accuracy measured against your real data before anything is trusted
- A human in the loop wherever the decision has consequences
- Confidence thresholds you control, tightened as the evidence comes in
Typical projects
- Invoice, contract and form data extraction from messy PDFs
- Support assistants grounded in your own documentation
- Inbox classification and routing
- First-draft generation for proposals and routine writing
Automate Your Operations
The repetitive work eating your week — invoicing, reporting, data entry, chasing — running itself while you sleep.
- Typical range
- $3k – $18k
- Timeline
- 1 – 5 weeks
What you get
- The process mapped honestly first, including the exceptions nobody mentions
- Automation that runs on your existing systems, with no rip-and-replace
- Loud, visible failure alerts — you always know when something needs a human
- A human approval step wherever the cost of a mistake is real
Typical projects
- Completed work turning into drafted invoices automatically
- Enquiries classified, routed and acknowledged within seconds
- Client and staff onboarding sequences that run themselves
- Weekly reports replaced by live dashboards
Build Your Web App
Custom software shaped around how your business actually works — not how a template thinks it should.
- Typical range
- $12k – $60k
- Timeline
- 6 weeks – 5 months
What you get
- A working version in weeks, not quarters, that a real person uses for real work
- Clean integration with the tools you already pay for, rather than replacing them
- A permissions model that matches your org chart, not a generic admin/user split
- Documentation and a handover so any competent developer can pick it up
Typical projects
- Job and project trackers replacing shared spreadsheets
- Customer portals with logins, documents and status
- Internal tools for quoting, scheduling or approvals
- Multi-tenant SaaS first versions
Take Your Business Online
A fast, findable website that turns visitors into enquiries — and that you fully own and can update yourself.
- Typical range
- $2k – $12k
- Timeline
- 2 – 6 weeks
What you get
- Sub-second load times, because slow sites quietly lose you customers
- Search structure and local SEO set up properly from day one
- Content built around what you actually know, not generic filler
- Full ownership: your domain, your hosting, your code, your data
Typical projects
- Marketing sites for service businesses
- E-commerce on a hosted platform with a fast custom front end
- Booking and enquiry flows using proven services
- Rescues of slow, abandoned or inaccessible existing sites
How a project actually runs
- 1
Discover
A free call, then a short paid discovery if the project warrants it. We map the real problem before anyone writes code.
- 2
Design
Scope, phases, and a fixed price for phase one. You see exactly what is in and what is explicitly out.
- 3
Build
Weekly working software you can click, not status reports. You change your mind while it is still cheap to.
- 4
Launch
Migration, training and a handover pack. Your team can run it without me from day one.
- 5
Support
A warranty period included, then ongoing support monthly or ad hoc. No lock-in either way.
Questions I get a lot
If yours isn't here, just ask. I reply to my own email.
Everyone is selling AI right now. How do I know what is real?
You measure it before you trust it. On every AI project I run the pipeline alongside your existing process for a few weeks first, extracting or answering in parallel without touching anything live. That gives a real accuracy figure on your actual data rather than a vendor benchmark, and it makes the go/no-go an evidence-based decision. If the numbers are not good enough, you have spent a fraction of the budget finding that out.
Is my business too small for AI to be worth it?
Usually not, but the useful projects are smaller than the hype suggests. The ones that reliably pay back are narrow: reading documents so nobody has to key them in, answering the same repetitive questions from your own documentation, sorting and routing an inbox. Those start around $6,000 and pay for themselves in staff hours. It is the sprawling "an AI that knows everything about our business" projects that burn money, and I will steer you away from those.
How much will my project cost?
Small automations start around $3,000. A solid first version of a web app is usually $12,000 to $60,000, driven mostly by how many systems it must integrate with and how complex permissions are — not by how many screens it has. I give a fixed price for phase one after a discovery conversation, so you are never signing a blank cheque.
How long does it take?
Automations typically take one to five weeks. Websites take two to six weeks, most of which is content. Web apps run from six weeks to five months depending on scope. I ship in phases, so you have something real in your hands long before the final phase lands.
Who actually does the work?
I do. You will not be handed to a junior after signing, and there is no account manager between us. If a project needs a specialist I do not have — a designer, say — I tell you upfront and you approve them.
Do I own the code?
Yes, completely. The repository lives in your account, the domain and hosting are in your name, and your data exports without asking me. This is arranged at the start of the project, not negotiated at the end.
What happens if it takes longer than quoted?
If I underestimated, that is my cost and I absorb it. If the scope genuinely changes — you want something we did not agree — we price that separately before I build it. The distinction is written into the agreement so it is never a surprise.
What if I am not sure what I need?
That is the normal starting point, and it is what the free call is for. Describe the problem in plain English and I will tell you what category it falls into, roughly what it costs, and whether an existing product would do the job better. I turn down work regularly on that last point.
Do you work with businesses outside your timezone?
Yes. Most of my work is remote and asynchronous, with a scheduled call each week. I overlap a few hours with most timezones and have run projects across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Have a project in mind? ✨
Let's talk about it. The call is free, the advice is honest, and there's zero pressure to work with me afterwards. Worst case, you leave with a clearer plan than you had.
